MGM E-4264 (1964)
The Animals were one of those Brit Invasion bands that, looking back, were better represented on LP in the US (see also Yardbirds, early Rolling Stones). While their UK management and Label seemed to change by the year, they remained steadily on MGM records in North America throughout their various incarnations. In fact, a few of their LPs never even saw release in the UK at the time.
Seems as good a point as any to start with their debut, released one month prior to its UK equivalent - presented here from a pristine copy of the first pressing (mono, of course).
